Rice Stuffing (Prepared)

1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup long-grain white uncooked rice
2 chicken-flavoured bouillon cubes
2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning


Step 1

Cook onion and celery in butter in a fry pan until tender.

Step 2

Add rice; heat, stirring often, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover tightly. Simmer about 15 minutes, until rice is tender and all liquid absorbed.
